The 2026 “Plant a Seed, Read” Summer Library Performances in the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS) region are a series of free, family-friendly events and live shows. They are funded in part by Oregon’s Ready to Read grants and hosted at various local libraries. Chemeketa Community College acts as a hub and partner for the 17 localized libraries within the CCRLS network. During the summer, these cooperative libraries host performers, authors, musicians, and storytellers to encourage youth reading. The performances are part of the broader “Plant a Seed, Read” statewide summer reading theme, which emphasizes learning and growth.
